Chief Financial Officer - Lhoist South America
Aleksander Neves joined Lhoist do Brasil in 2012 as Finance General Manager to lead the Controlling, Accounting, Tax and Treasury departments. In July 2017, he was appointed CFO of Lhoist South America. He has a solid professional experience in finance developed through a career in Teixeira & Associados, Arthur Andersen, CNH (Case New Holland) and Stepan Company, where he was coordinating finance and controlling activities in South America (Brazil, Mexico and Colombia).
Aleksander Neves holds a bachelor degree in Economics from UFMG and Accounting from PUC/MG. He also completed a Finance Specialization and Executive MBA with focus in Project Management from Fundação Dom Cabral (FDC).
Business Development General Manager - Lhoist Chile
Horacio Marin joined Lhoist Group in 2013 as Business Development General Manager of Lhoist Chile.
He graduated with degree in Industrial Civil Engineering at the University of Atacama in 2002. His contact with the mining industry began early in 1994, during an internship at the Chuquicamata Division of Codelco Chile. After completing his internship, he was hired by the company as Maintenance Planner, thus gaining hands-on experience at one of the largest mining operations in the country.
In 1996 he joined TecProMin Ltda, a former joint venture partner of Ludowici, as a Process Engineer, acquiring vast experience in sampling systems. In 2003 when Ludowici entered into a joint venture with TecProMin, Horacio became the Business Manager of Ludotec. In 2007 he became the General Manager of Ludowici Chile. In 2012 when FLSmidth bought Ludowici PTY LTD, was appointed as Regional Manager of FLSmidth for South America.<p>
Chief Executive Officer - Lhoist Colombia
Ramón Pereira has joined Lhoist Colombia on March 2014 as CEO, with responsibilities over the Andean market, Central America, and the Caribbean region.
Ramón started his professional carrier as Project and Process Engineer working for Dow Chemical, 4 years later he joined Petroquimica Colombiana S.A. for 17 years, where he had responsibilities over Logistic and Administrative areas, to later be promoted to Operational Manager. More recently, Ramón took over General Management responsibilities, first on the shrimp farming industry and later on the leather tanning industry.
Ramón is graduated in Industrial Engineering at University of Miami and holds a Masters on Business Administration completed in the same institution.
Human Resources Director - Lhoist South America
Marlus Teixeira began his career as Village Administration Manager with Vale in 1989, major iron mining company in Brazil, becoming Industrial Relations Manager in 1993 . In 1998 he moved to Unilever as HR Plant Manager, 2 years later he was promoted to Rewards and Benefits Corporate Manager and then in 2003 to Corporate Industrial Relations Manager.
He joined Lhoist Brazil in 2005 as head of the HR department.
Marlus Teixeira graduated with a degree in Physical Education from Minas Gerais University (Brazil) and holds a P. D in Business Strategic Manager from FGV ( Getulio Vargas Foundation ) after Human Resources Manager Specialist from São Paulo University (Brazil).
Operations Director - Lhoist South America
Savio Torres began his career with Votoratim Group, a Brazilian company that operates in various sectors that are capital intensive. He spent 26 yrs with the company in maintenance, projects and plant managerial positions.
In 2004 he joined Lhoist Brasil as Operational General Manager. In 2006 he became Operational Director.
Savio Torres graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering from CFET of Minas Gerais university and holds a P.D in Business Management from FGV.
New Business Development General Manager - Lhoist Brazil
Cristiano Zanforlin joined Lhoist Group in 2004 and since then has been managing costumers within several industrial and agribusiness markets, like: pharmaceutical, mining, calcium carbonate, sugar and alcohol, agricultural, fertilizers, chemical industry, wastewater and sludge treatment, plastics, paints, rubber, food and others. In 2015 Cristiano was appointed NBD General Manager.
He began his career in 1995 at White Martins as Technical Salesman, in 1996 he moved to Imerys as Process Engineer. In 1997, he joined Votorantim Cimentos where developed activities in Quality, Process, Technical Service & Development and Sales areas.
Cristiano graduated with a degree in Chemistry Engineering from UFMG (Brazil) and holds a P.D in Economic Engineering from Fundação Dom Cabral (Brazil), Business Administration and Innovation and Technology by FIA-USP (Brazil) as well as of Bentley University (USA).
