Lime is used to improve the
unsuitable and heterogeneous spoil from excavations and
enables them to be used to backfill trenches and other urban excavations.
This practice, which conforms with the new sustainable environmental policy,
can be implemented in situ close to the site, or in a central plant.
To optimize the use of lime and make the recycling job easy, Lhoist Engineering (LE&LA) has developed an on-site system that allows lime to be dosed directly from big bags in the screening bucket.
