Lhoist purchases RMC lime in the UK
On December 14th, 2000, the Lhoist Group
acquired the lime activities of RMC Industrial Minerals in the UK. The new
entity operates under the name Lhoist UK Ltd.
Lhoist UK has a lime production capacity of 200 Kt in Hindlow, 50 kms south
of Manchester and a hydration plant in Hartley, Cumbria.
The 94 employees working in Hindlow and Hartley have been welcomed into the Lhoist
Group. |
