Rheinkalk participates in German Asphalt Days 2002
From 30th January to 1st February 2002, the eleventh Deutsche Asphalttage took place in Berchtesgaden. More than 700 experts from the production and processing industry, raw material and machine suppliers, as well as experts from research and science took advantage of these three days to discuss the newest developments and trends concerning Roadbuilding.
For the first time, Rheinkalk had their own stand at the Euroforum exhibition, which took place in parallel to the
congress.
The aim was to present the good results of Asphacal®, a product made from hydrated lime and limestone powder, to the interested experts present.
The test tracks, which were built five years ago, could now be analysed. They exhibited excellent performance concerning the reduction of
rutting, bitumen adhesion on quartzite and durability.
As well as Asphacal®, Proviacal®, which has recently become available from Flandersbach, was also presented. Proviacal® is a low dust emission quicklime for soil treatment.
The Rheinkalk exhibition stand had many visitors during the congress. We made several contacts and are fully involved in the process of following these up.
