The German lime works, which were very successful in the
field of occupational safety and which have had very few working accidents
in the year 2000, were honoured at the Annual General Meeting of the Federal
Association of the German Lime Industry in July.
The Rheinkalk Group has once again had excellent results in this competition. The Flandersbach Plant achieved 2nd place, the Hönnetal Plant came 3rd, with the Plant Neandertal in 4th. Among the top 10, the Hagen-Halden Plant was 7th and the Messinghausen Plant 10th. Five of the top 10 plants were Rheinkalk plants! This outstanding result shows the importance that Rheinkalk management attaches to occupational safety.
