Vice President Technical Manufacturing
Antoine Berghmans was appointed Vice President Technical Manufacturing in 2018 after holding a Vice President and General Manager position of the Texas Region.
Antoine spent the first years of his career as a Project Engineer in the aviation and automotive industries. After some time as a Strategy Consultant, Antoine acquired, turned around and ultimately sold a commercial truck construction and equipment company in Belgium.
Antoine holds a Bachelor in Applied Science for ULB in Brussels, a Master in Electro-Mechanical Engineering from ECAM in Brussels (BE) and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (US).
Vice President, Human Resources
Dan Brock was appointed Vice President, Human Resources of Lhoist North America in 2013. Prior to joining Lhoist North America, Dan served as Vice President of Human Resources for Chaparral Steel Company and Area Human Resources Director at Parker Aerospace.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from University of Texas at Dallas and Masters of Human Resources Management from the University of Texas at Arlington (US).
Vice President and General Manager, East Region Minerals
David Puryear was named Vice President and General Manager, East Region Minerals for Lhoist North America in 2014.
Prior to that, he served as Vice President, Sales for Franklin Industrial Minerals and then Vice President, Sales for the East region of Lhoist North America from 2007 through 2013.
After graduation from the University of Tennessee, with a Bachelor Degree in History, David served as a commissioned line officer in the United States Navy specializing in marine propulsion and engineering. Afterward he served four years with National Recovery Technologies (NRT), a materials processing technology company, as National Sales Manager prior to joining Franklin Industrial Minerals as Vice President in 1993. Franklin was later acquired by Lhoist in 2006.
Vice President and General Counsel
Ken Curtiss joined the company in 2000 as Vice President and General Counsel. In 2015, Ken’s responsibilities were expanded to include oversight of Lhoist North America’s finance, accounting and purchasing functions.
In 1987, Ken began his career in the private practice of law with the firm of Thompson & Knight, LLP. From 1993 to 2000, Ken served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel of State National Companies, a property and casualty insurer.
Ken holds a BBA -Accounting and JD degrees from the University of Texas, Austin (US) and is a licensed attorney and Certified Public Accountant in the State of Texas (US).
Vice President, Commercial Operations for Lhoist North America
Mark Milner is currently Vice President, Commercial Operations for Lhoist North America.
He started his career with Lhoist North America (formerly Chemical Lime) in 1990 after college graduation. Mark has held various roles in all 4 regions of LNA over the years including Vice President, Operations and Vice President, Sales. During his career with Lhoist, he had a 2 year assignment at Group Headquarters in Limelette.
Mark has a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas, Austin (US).
Vice President & General Manager East Lime
Roger Fawcett joined Lhoist UK in 1987, and is now Vice President & General Manager East Lime for Lhoist North America.
His career began in sales with various roles and geographies in the UK between 1987 and 1996. In 1996 he took a dual role in sales and operations based in northern England and in 2000, Roger assumed responsibility for the UK operations based in central England. In 2004, he transferred to the United States and worked on special projects based in Fort Worth, Texas. Between 2006 and 2014, Roger held several key operational roles in the US based in Idaho and Arizona.
Roger Fawcett studied Management at the University of Portsmouth (UK).
