Global

The Lhoist Sustainability Award offers our employees around the globe the opportunity to be recognized for the difference they make and contribute to a sustainable organizational culture. It also facilitates the exchange of best practices.

We take this opportunity to thank everyone who contributed to sustainability and encourage submissions for the next edition. Ultimately success and progress are the sum of all efforts, whether large or small, local, or global.

2021 edition

Following the resounding success of the 2019 award, 190 projects relating to one or more of the three pillars of our sustainability journey were submitted in 2021. Forty of those projects were set up specifically to help our communities deal with the difficult context created by the coronavirus pandemic. The solidarity, commitment, and involvement of all our colleagues has been remarkable.
