Circulating Dry Scrubber (CDS)

CDS systems remove acidic gases by recirculating a mixture of partially reacted sorbent and fly ash to maximize contact with the flue gas. Solids captured in the filter are returned to the reactor, increasing reagent utilization. Water can be added to control temperature, and improve removal performance. This enhances gas‑solid interaction, significantly improving treatment performance while reducing overall sorbent consumption.
