As part of our commitment to decarbonization, we are conducting several feasibility and engineering studies on CCS/CCU technologies and projects.
We are exploring a wide range of pathways - from large scale projects developed with industrial partners to smaller, exploratory initiatives with leading research centers. This balanced approach helps us build the expertise needed to bring low carbon lime and dolime solutions to market.

The CalCC/D’Artagnan project would represent a pathway for the European lime industry.

An integrated negative carbon footprint solution for cement-free building products by using exhaust CO2 gas from a lime manufacturing plant and by-products from the stainless steel production

The project would construct a completely new type of lime kiln and a large-scale industrial separation plant, which will allow CO2 to be captured and stored, both permanently and safely.

This project would represent the first major investment in the construction of an industrial kiln for dolime production designed to operate in Oxyfuel mode and will enable us to offer a low-carbon product without compromising on quality.
