Lhoist Mag-On-Demand (MOD) blended quicklime products are designed to provide magnesium mainly for wet scrubbers.

Characteristics

Magnesium percentages, typically 4-10%, are tailored to each customer’s needs.  

Magnesium reacts with SO2 to form magnesium sulfite, increasing the overall alkalinity of the scrubbing liquor.
